Historically speaking, Dark Angel has been through a lot. With near constant lineup changes, lack of mainstream breakthrough, and band members dying or being injured, there’s been plenty of moments where they could have called it quits. But despite everything (including the fact that no original members remain in the band) the band has kept going by sheer will at times. And now, they’re finally back! For real this time, check them out when they tear up the stage at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City on September 23rd. You can’t miss it!

This is not a drill – American thrash metal icons Dark Angel are finally back! The band has come and gone more times than anyone can keep track of at this point, but this year marks a turning point in their history. Earlier this year, the band announced their first new album and subsequent North American tour set for later this year. The album, Extinction Level Event, will be the band’s first new release in over thirty years, and the lead single is already out now. Hear it for yourself at their performance in New York City at the Gramercy Theatre this September. Be there!

After countless close calls and almost-reunions, the thrash legends themselves, Dark Angel are back. For real this time, the band is set to headline a series of shows across North America starting this September with a show in San Diego, California at the House of Blues San Diego. Their fifth studio album, Extinction Level Event, is set to release later this year as well, but there’s still no telling when specifically it will come out. Until then, the tour will come to a smashing close on October 16th with a show in Los Angeles, California at The Belasco, but you can be sure to catch them at their show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Seriously, you’re not gonna wanna miss it!
