Devon Allman and Duane Betts will be performing their all-acoustic duo set paying tribute to his famous father Gregg Allman at the Gramercy Theater in New York on Tuesday, June 9th 2026. In this stripped back format the two sons of legendary rock musicians take the audience on a musical journey to pay tribute to the famous Southern rock pioneer.
The World Premier screening event of Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul film with Q&A & Discussion with the filmmakers will be followed up by live music performances by Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Devon Allman off his 20 Years Strong Tour.
Devon will be playing new material from his upcoming release “The Blues Summit” (2025). Duane Betts, the other heir to the Allman Brothers musical throne will be joining him and will premier some of his newly released album “Isle of Hope” (2026).

Devon Allman and Duane Betts will join together for an evening of friendly competition - performing unique acoustic duet versions of various Gregg Allman songs. The performance will take place at the Gramercy Theatre in New York, New York on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 6:30 PM.
Following the live performance, the documentary Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul will be screened, followed by a Q&A with some of the filmmakers as well as cast members. Tickets start at $157.00 and this is going to be a very excited crowd of approximately 650 people.
Devon Allman brings over 20 years of experience to the stage in performing blues rock and original music. Playing fan favorites “Midnight Lake Michigan”, “Ragged & Dirty”, and “Watch What You Say”, original songs and select covers are blended with soulful vocals and masterful guitar playing.
Grammy nominated and award-winning, Devon has been nominated for 5 Blues Music Awards including “Song of the Year” and “Album of the Year”. In 2012 Devon was awarded the Blues Music Award for Best Rock Song for “Wouldn’t Change A Thing” with the Royal Southern Brotherhood supergroup.
The young singer and guitarist Duane Betts has been keeping the torch lit. Performing in his natural style as an acoustic set, the listeners were treated to hear Betts' unique guitar playing, original songwriting and personal style that has been displayed on his solo efforts such as "Stare at the Sun", "Colors Fade" and "Heartache."
The Concert will be held at Theater 470, 127 East 23rd Street (bet. Park and Lexington Avenues) in Manhattan's Gramercy Park district. Gramercy Theater is a small theater with a 650 seat capacity, and the concert will be general admission in standing position with music and video displayed on a large screen. There will be limited seating in the Loge on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will be available snack stands and food vendors, and a full bar with a full drink menu including liquor. The I, Q and R subway lines, as well as the 6 train and the Lexington Avenue local bus are all a very short walk from Theater 470.
